Today, social networks connect consumers and businesses, but these behemoth networks offer little specialization to niche industries like aviation. Consequently, much information in the aviation industry is spread by word-of-mouth. This includes: hangar availability, jobs, flight instructor availability, examiner contact info, and more.
Planedock is a world-first micro social network, tailored specifically to the needs of the aviation industry. It is designed to digitalize information that in the past was spread exclusively by word-of-mouth.
Planedock is a network of pilots and aviation professionals.
We believe that every participant in the aviation community has things they have (an aircraft, ratings, etc.), and things that they want (a new aircraft, a new rating, a job, an annual inspection, a hangar, etc.) and things they can offer (an aircraft for sale, flight instructions services, etc). A Planedock Pro profile allows each member of the aviation community to advertise what they have, what they need, and what they have to offer, which allows others to quickly locate them and vet their profile and decide if they want to do business.
Planedock answers questions without phone calls
• Where can I get a hangar for my Cessna near Dallas?
• Where can I get flight training in a Comanche near Chicago?
• Who can give me an ATP rating in a Baron in northern California?
• Where can I get an annual inspection for my R44 in south Florida?
• Is the aircraft broker representing this Cirrus the legitimate broker?
• Is anyone hiring 737 captains near Detroit?
• Is anyone looking for a ground support job for MD500s in Ohio?
